What We Do

The mission of Mite is to

Go above and beyond to help donors know how their money is used.

We accomplish this mission by establishing fully coordinated humanitarian projects with thoroughly vetted missions partners around the world. We present these impactful projects to our community of givers as opportunities to engage in doing good globally.

Our vision is to Make Giving Better.

We consider this a God sized vision. Meaning, we will not be able to accomplish it without God's help and the participation of givers worldwide. We believe charity is more than the nonprofit industry has made it out to be. Charity is our opportunity to work with God in what He is doing throughout the world. Individuals with less honorable intentions have unfortunately distorted the true essence of the term "charity." Mite, however, is dedicated to reinstating the genuine meaning of charity and what it was intended to be - love.

Presenting worthy projects to our giving community is something we take very seriously. Finding, researching, and funding organizations make Mite such an exceptional resource for givers. Through our comprehensive vetting process, our team can ascertain suitable partners who innovate and execute their missions successfully with impactful results. We only choose to partner with organizations with outstanding records in philanthropy.

We concentrate on humanitarian-related projects in the areas of:

  • Education
  • Child Development
  • Health and Hygiene
  • Medical Assistance
  • Development
  • Disaster Relief

Mite seeks out “pioneer” organizations that are innovative in their approaches and address unique needs within particular communities or regions. We look for grassroots organizations that are highly effective, efficient, actively participate in their services and sustainably impact the people they serve. We partner with organizations and projects across the globe - there are no limitations on geographical location.

Mite has developed a process designed for the giver. Utilizing decades of charitable experience, we dedicated our organization over its first 4 years to creating the Mite Donor Experience. This process, conducted on every one of our collaborative outreach projects, provides the giver with insight into the need for their participation in a project as well as full awareness of the results of their participation.

We do not wait for our donor to ask for insight. We give it to them from the get go and continue to reveal the outcome until their generosity culminates in a completed project and measured impact.
